DATA & CHILD SAFETY
Built for families, controlled by adults.
This overview explains the everyday safeguards families can understand before creating an account. The Privacy Policy provides the complete details.
Effective July 29, 2026
Adults create and manage the family
Forge Family accounts are created by adults. An authorized parent or guardian chooses which children to add, what information to save, and which other adults may join the household. Children do not create standalone public accounts.
Child profiles stay private
Child profiles are not searchable or public. Household information is shown only to authenticated family members according to their access. Profile photos are kept in private storage and delivered only after Forge Family confirms household access.
Personal PINs separate family views
The family email and password open the household. A unique personal PIN then opens the matching adult or child profile. A child PIN opens only that child's experience; it is not a separate child account and does not provide adult controls.
Family information is not an advertising product
Forge Family does not sell personal information, run targeted advertising, or use child information to create advertising profiles. Family data is used to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service.
Parents remain in control
Authorized adults can review and correct family information. The household owner can download a portable family-data copy and can permanently delete the household and owner account from the private Privacy & Sharing center.
Questions or safety concerns
Contact Support for privacy questions, account help, correction or deletion requests, or a suspected security concern. Do not include a password or PIN in a support message.
